Alex oversees daily company operations, including administration, finance, investments, and property management. With 21+ years of real estate and finance experience, he specializes in healthcare and retail investment sales, leasing, development, and acquisitions, with a track record of managing transactions worth over $3 billion across 3 million square feet.
Before joining Catalyst, Alex served as the Chief Acquisition Officer for healthcare at Carter Validus, where he spearheaded the assembly and management of a substantial asset portfolio. In his previous role, he held the position of Senior Director of Corporate Real Estate and Construction at Novant Health, overseeing all leasing and development activities while providing strategic real estate guidance to market leaders. Furthermore, he headed an eight-member property management team responsible for five million square feet of real estate, along with another team overseeing $250 million in sale/leaseback transactions.
