As Chief Growth Officer, Alex leads the Business Development and Innovation team. A seasoned healthcare professional, Alex is dedicated to creating value for clients while building strong, long-term relationships. He is passionate about expanding access to quality health outcomes, and his work has impacted populations across the globe.

With over 20 years of experience serving healthcare organizations, the U.S. military, and international sports teams—including The Mayo Clinic, UCLA Health, United Argentina Rugby, University of Miami, U.S. Navy, and USSOCOM (United States Special Operations Command)—Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Catalyst.

Alex began his career as a draft pick for the San Francisco 49ers, but injuries shifted his focus to sports medicine and human performance. In 2006, he joined world renowned surgeon, Dr. James Andrews, to help develop the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Florida, where he led efforts in athlete relations, vendor partnerships, and community outreach. In 2008, Alex founded The Eagle Fund, a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation program a part of the Andrews Research and Education Foundation, that has helped over 1,000 injured U.S. Special Operations personnel return to duty.

Before joining Catalyst, he served as Senior Vice President for Business Development at EXOS, a global leader in human performance. During his time here, Alex spearheaded programs aimed at maximizing elite human assets for professional sports and military organizations. He also developed programs to help health systems impact their communities through proactive health, wellness, and sports performance initiatives.
