Matt Mattox serves as the Executive Vice President of Construction and Development at Catalyst. In this role, Matt provides strategic leadership and oversight for all construction and development initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s business and investment goals.   He also actively contributes to Catalyst’s healthspan initiative by planning and developing purpose-built facilities.   Matt works closely with senior leadership and external partners, vendors, and suppliers to support Catalyst's growth and operational needs.

Matt brings more than two decades of commercial real estate development, acquisitions, and capital markets experience, with a primary focus on healthcare real estate. He has led the development of multiple ambulatory surgery centers, outpatient medical buildings, and other mission critical healthcare facilities for regional and national health systems, independent physician groups, and senior living providers.

In 2008 after serving six productive years in CBRE’s Capital Markets group, Matt left to help establish and grow Caddis Partners, a national healthcare real estate development firm, where he played a pivotal role in business development, project development, capital procurement, and strategic acquisitions. His leadership of the acquisition platform contributed to a joint venture with one of the country’s largest asset managers. After stepping away from Caddis Partners in 2018, Matt transitioned to a development consultant role with a select client base including the nation’s largest outpatient surgery center operator, a relationship he still maintains today. His work has resulted in excess of $1 billion in healthcare transactions, serving a wide range of providers and operators primarily in Sunbelt and Midwest markets.
